First Timer

Hi All

I am in Australia and a two time Vectra CDX (Holden/Opel) owner

Did trade my first one in on a New 2008 Mazda 6, but within a week

or so was missing the handling and power from my old Vectra,

So I turned it over for a 2005 Vectra with 18,000ks on it

Happy again now !

Have joined your club to share my thought and get some from the

rest of you owners about theses great cars.

I am trying to fit a mp3 player to this Vectra with a CDC40 audio in it

I did fit one to my previous Vectra using the Aux input and it worked very

well. It was a JVC mp3 CD with USB input for memory stick.

Have after much reasearch have located the DAB (Digital Audio Broardcast) wiring input behind the glove box ,but the unit doesn't respond to the input.

Is there a trigger to activate this input line on these units ??

Any Help would be great and I would love to help others with my experiences with theses cars also

Cant answer your question about the cd40 but it will not be long before the wiz kids show up and you get your answer. I think the dabs neads to be Tech 2 though

I understand you have a CDC40 without DAB... I'm not sure if you will be able to use it as an aux in, but DAB must be activated via tech2
