Perhaps try cleaning it with some meths or the likes. just in case it is slipping off because it is damp with brake fluid.
Is there a steel band or something that holds the seal in place. Look to see if it has come off or broken?.

I can't even do that as the seal on the fully working caliper is rock solid and won't even come off and I don't want to risk having both calipers fubbered the seal I've got is for the 2.8 V6 Turbo but you can get half of it on nice the other side pops off, its proper ****ing me off like I'm not meant to have the bigger brakes on my heap of ****e car

Bring them around tomorrow and maybe another pair of hands and eyes might help. Could be the seal is faulty
