3.2 GSi cambelt - couldn't wait any longer!

Just had to get cambelt changed as we were past the 65,000 mark. Booked it in to local VX garage and had water pump replaced at same time together with auxillary belt and spark plugs.

Plugs cost £3.83 ea + VAT, total job came to £???.??

Nearly there, only 3p out LOL. I know I could have gone elsewhere but my thoughts at the time were that if VX make a hash of it, they've got the means to put it right (perhaps?).

Thing that did impress me though was that I dropped the car off at 8.00am and said I'd like to pick it up by 2.00pm latest. Got a phone call at 11.05am saying all was done, even put all the old replaced bits in a box in the boot.

VX stealer in question - Burnham Garage, High Wycombe. They've not got that a reputation but they did OK this time.
