Thumbs up New V-SRi CDTi 150 owner

    Hi all,

I've had a Vectra-C 2.2 DTi since 2002 and just traded her in for a younger 1.9 CDTi SRi 150 yesterday and initial impressions are that it is a far superior engine. More refined and has bags more low down torque.

It seems to rev easier, so with it having a few miles on the clock and now out of manufacturers warranty i'm seriously considering getting it chipped up. Question is though, is it really worth spending any more cash on it by way of air intake/filter, decat or exhaust system prior to getting it chipped?

What sort of tuning have other owners done to theirs and for what power/performance gain?

Any tuning opinions would be gratefully received.

Easiest and safest option is a remap (several different ones available...) for about 500 squid up to around 190 bhp - there's loads of guys on here who've done it...

I've only been on the site for 2-3 weeks (same length of time i've owned my car).
I went to the 1.9 CDTi 150. I'm still amazed on occassions at the amount of torque it's putting out.

As for tuning the engine i haven't done anything there yet. (Just lots of subtle exterior mods) There are loads of people on here with the 150's that have chipped it, they'll tell you all about it.
