Default Boost gauge - couple of piccies

After the trials and tribulations of fitting my boost gauge, I finished off the wiring this evening and saw the gauge lit up for the first time. Oooh, it's nice!

I thought I'd get a couple of pics up straight away as apparently it's the law!! Wait 'til I get my hands on whoever came up with that!!

    So without further ado.....

The position it is on the dashboard is only temporary whilst I source an A-Pillar pod that I like.

It's interesting to see what the turbo is doing in different circumstances, types of driving etc. Now that I could see the dial properly I could see what it was actually doing! One thing I saw was that, boy, does the turbo get back onto full boost very quickly when changing gear!

Duncan, can you explain to us, where and how you connect this gauge to the car? Is it a pipe "T" off from somewhere, or does it have an electrical sender unit which screws in the manifold somewhere. Could you please explain how its connected to the car, and also where you brought it from?

    Thanks Paul

Yes, it's a T-Piece tapping off to the inlet manifold - it'll all be explained in my How 2 when I get it done (may be a little while as it's a big un!! ) As for where I bought it from, it's in the original thread.

lol - nah, I really like the blue effect. I thought it was going to be a normal white or orange glow, but when it lit up slightly blue I thought "Cool, even better!"
