Unfortunately, Vectras aren't renowned for their lack of depreciation.

In one year and 30,000 miles, the value of my car nearly halved. Luckily, I didn't buy it new because it would have hurt! Instead, I have a lovely motor that I paid an absolute song for!

There are two ways to play this game. Vec C's make a lot more sense as a used buy.

At a guess, between £4000-£4500 depending on how much margin the trader wanted across it. He'll probably take £5000 for it given the fact he wants £5295, so he's probably leaving himself £500 for his trouble.

Not a bad price as long as the car's been looked after.

its a fact of life i'm afraid,
but as mentioned above, it makes it a steal for the second user,
take my signum, a £24.5k car, i got it 10 months old with 2k ( VX own demo car )miles on the clock for half price, yes £12k

    BB
( sadly worth no more then 8k now, lol )

I paid £8,000 for mine at exactly one year old and 13,000 miles from a VX dealership.

For personal buyer, I don't think it makes sense to buy a new car when second hand values are so low. Too much depreciation to stand.
