Default 4 Wheel 'Hunter' Laser Alignment done today

Not been happy with the ride quality lately and looked as if the outer edges on the front tyres were scrubbing.

I hadn't had the wheel alignment checked since fitting the 30mm Pi springs last year as the tyres were wearing evenly and the rdie and handling were spot on. But it's hard to explain what the ride feeels like. It's as if i've got 50 psi in my tyres and with only the smallest bit of throttle in the wet she spins.

So i booked the car into my nearest Tyre Centre that use the Hunter system following advice from other members on here. Really helpful bunch at East Grinsted Tyre Services and the guy doing my car quite happily let me walk around the car and underneath too. Anyway, he rigged up all the gauges on the wheels, lined them up then went to check his computer readings. After a minute he called me over and showed me the readings and........................................... absolutely spot on the manufacturers settings!

He gave it a little tweak to try and improve things and it does feel a bit better. The only thing i can do now is play around with the tyre pressure settings. Thinking about it, the ride has only gotten strange since i pumped up the tyres about 7-8 weeks ago (30psi all round), as there was only about 20 psi in them!

So, any ideas as to what it could be? Should i deflate my tyres again? And what psi would you recommend in my tyres? 225 40 18.

The bonus was that it should have cost me £47 + VAT but they only charged me £30 + VAT as there was not a lot wrong!

I've attached the readout and some pics.

That print out of theirs says standard suspension, yours is lowered, would that make a difference?
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

As it's just lowered it's classed as standard. He did ask me if it had the VXR suspension setup as that is classed as non-standard.

I think they may be a MOT failure as they could side sweep a few pedestrians off their feet.

I would play around with the tyre pressures start high and every week drop it and see what effect it has. Mine spins easily but it is the 1st FWD I have ever had. The pre-facelift isn't known for its handerling on UK roads.

What tyres you got on? Maybe change the tyre brand when you come to change them. Also, could worn shocks do this? I dunno.

I reckon if your lowered 30mm it should have been set for sports suspension. Why did you not get the rear camber adjusted?

Here's mine (also lowered 30mm but Eibach's), it's way out to start as I had changed the steering rods and rear suspension arms...
