    Default EGT sensor

    Is the egt sensor one of the lamda sensors ???

    Help!!!!!

    nope... there's two sensors on top of your catalyst ( or stage 3 elbow) dependant on model year...one it the temp probe....

    if it's a later car i'm not sure they had them fitted...

    It's an 04 Mark. Do you think it's an easy fix??

    Temp probe is the one on the bottom of the cat IIRC.

    when you fitted your BSR downpipe did you have two 'senders' up by the turbo and one below the standard cat??

    Do you think the volvo patch lead is at fault? The problem started when the downpipe was fitted.

    it 'could' be dodgy connections.. but it will need hooking up to TECH2 or Vauxcom to see what live readings it's giving back... or it could just be a damaged or dodgy sensor...
