I'm following the line that another memebr here has done which is just change the parts i listed above, & get the car Tech 2 at the Vx, & every thing worked ok.
Can't remember his name, the car is a Sig Met' blue, with all the bells, & whisles on it.

What i not getting, is this bit about changing door switchs with the earlyer model, and part of of the door loom, from the How To 2 write up, its a bit confusing with the talk on this post.

You won't need to change the door switch, the only difference between the 'folding' version and the non-folding version is one has the graphic on it! lol

Re loom - as yours is a facelift then it may not have the loom all there. Look at Lofty's posts as I'm sure he had to get around this problem on his.

Not meaning to be rude, but from the pictures is your car not of the earlyer type. Mine is a 56 signum elite.
The person i was refuring to was on post 66 of this thread.
He changed the DDM/PDM, & both wing mirrors, & got it tech 2, & had no problems, his car is an 06 signum elite.

Is there a reason that doing the same wouldn't work?

Ah gotcha, yeah that's Andy that did the mod on his facelift and as you say he just fitted the parts and got a Tech 2 - same on my pre-facellift.

My reference to lofty - I think I was getting mixed up with him doing his rear windows where he had to get a different loom.

For the folding mirrors, I think so far everyone has just changed the parts and a Tech 2 and they're sorted. I only needed to change the PDM as I had the higher spec DDM in my car with it having the memory seats.

Luck git with the memory seats.
We were looking to buy a signum since they came out, so when we bought one, was massively ****ed that bits had been taken off.

Biggest mod i want to do is the AFL/washers.

I'v adjusted the Part No. now.
Are these part numbers right?
Also does the new folding mirrior come with a new anti-dazzel mirror?. If not, has any body been able remove the old anti dazzel mirrior with out damage?
