There is an issue with the injector wiring on CDTIs, Vx do modified looms with thicker wire. Strangely it affects the No 3 injector. Could be worth a try.

Sorry should have been more specific, This is a known fault and Vx supply a modified injector loom (1 for each inj), not very expensive.

Just cleaned the injector wiring loom plugs as they probably aint been touched since they were put on the car in the factory, took her for a spin just now and 'VOILA' the problem has gone, Woohoo iv got a huge smile on my face!!!!!!

Plug 3 was black so I blew all the sh*t out then cleaned the pins by pushing them on and off, did same for all four and jobs a goodun!!

Pop the bonnet and take off the engine cover 1st!

Your engine may be layed out a little different to mine coz urs is the 1.9 CDTi 120 and I have the 150 so im not 100% its the same, but basically ur looking for the injectors with the injector loom plugs on top as circled in the 1st pic. Simply unclip the yellow catch and press on the release button and just pull off, it shouldnt be 2 difficult. Then all you need do is give each one a blow and push on and of 2/3 times just 2 clean any crap thats caked on the pins in the plugs. If u have any carb cleaner available give them a blast but wait for them to dry/evaporate before putting them back on and starting up the engine. Make sure u do one at a time and reclip the yellow slider before doing the next plug, u dont want to mix them up now do u!!!

What you got to remeber is that these plugs may not have been cleaned since the car left the factory, and with hot/cold weather the pins can sometimes corrode! So annual checks of these should keep them working nicely!
