    Default Firestone tyres

    I`am thinking of fitting Firestone TZ200 tyres £111.22 from BBT what do you think of these tyres.

    Firestone are basically Bridgestone's mid-priced brand. TZ200 is a good tyre, my housemate had them on his last Astra and he got just shy of 50k out of them on the front. They gripped pretty well too, better than the Dunlops the car came with originally.

    My previous job's company fleet cars ran on Firestone all the time, hundreds of thousands of miles between the couple of cars and never a problem.

    £111 seems wild expensive - what size are you looking at? I wouldn't want to pay any more than £75 fitted for a TZ200 in 17".

    I had some on my old VecB and they seemed pretty good,they were only on about 5k before i sold the car, i only paid £49 but that was 15" and just over a year ago now
