    Default cd starts from beginning

    Guys,

Please please please tell me that there is a way to stop the CD70 from starting the loaded CD right from the beginning every time you switch off!?!

for example, i've listened all the way through a cd and got to track 15, i go to fill up with petrol, turn off, turn back on and it doesn't remember where i was, so it starts from track 1 again, and i have to forward to track 15...

That sounds like it's not got a permanent live correctly fitted to it.

If you add a preset channel on the radio, does it lose that as well when you turn it off? If it does, then that's the problem.

Sounds like it's losing it's power when you turn the unit off.

It's always done it since i had it and i thought it was how the CD70 worked
It might be a power issue but as the Parrot kit works the correct way and turns off with the ignition i didn't give it a second thought TBH

I tried every configuration I could think of coming home tonight to try and get mine to do the same but it always started from where it left off.

I'll have a look at the weekend. It might need the Parrot kit putting on it's own feed and let the SOT lead just sort out the radio power.
I can only think it could be that but i'm sure it did it before the kit was installed.
