Power steering

How do i check the power steering level?

The Signum has started to feel heavy, but not all the time, usually after braking the steering gets VERY heavy for a few seconds

there are marks on the reservoir.. it will be located either on top of the rack by the bulkhead or tucked under the drivers side headlight.. if it's under the headlight, take the bumper off.... much better access than working via the mudsheild in the inner wheelarch..

the brakes and the steering thou aren't connected... seperate systems... voltage/current issue??..

Not sure, the car seems fine in every other way, the brakes have always been crap, never driven a vauxhall with decent brakes so I can live with that, just feels stiff to turn when Ive braked.
