Default It's all in the detail... (no 56k)

OK, most of you know that i've taken Caterman's v6 CDTi off of his hands.
It arrived on Friday night looking a little dirty...

So, Saturday afternoon came and i was desperate to do something with the motor, but since Catermans already done all the big stuff i thought i'd just give it a clean

Firstly, off came the 'elite' badges on the doors as I thought it would look smoother without.

    Then came the wash:

    1) rinse
    2) washed wheels with AG Body shampoo using sponge and Megs wheel brush
    3) rinse wheels and car again
    4) 2BM wash with Duragloss 901 using Megs wash mitt
    5) Rinse
    6) Light spray when wet with Megs Quick Detailer, then dry with Megs Drying Towel
    7) De-greased under bonnet with AG Engine & Machine Cleaner then used a diluted mix for door/boot shuts
    8) AG SRP all over using microfibre to apply and Megs Microfibre to buff
    9) AG EGP all over using applicator pad to apply and Megs Microfibre to buff approx 30 mins later

    Then typically it started raining

So, i left it for the day.
This morning, SWMBO wanted to go out and about, so the damn car got dirty again... it's ok though, just another excuse to finish off the cleaning

A Megs Quick Detailer and another coat of AG EGP later and here's the result:

Now then... how about this for a reflection

and then just one for good measure... currently have this sitting in my garage - X plate Subaru Impreza P1 - awesome machine!!

Anyways, that's how i've spent my weekend
