What mileage to replace Cam belt on 1.9 120bhp

At what mileage should I replace my cam belt on my 1.9 diesel 120bhp. Also how difficult is it for a diyer?

i would change it at 40k ....it isnt to hard todo if you have a idea about mechanics but dont cost a lot for a garage todo it for you if you dont feel happy with it .,,,,,,

I was told anything from 40-100k, 4 years to 10 years so I went for a more cautious option at 70k and 4 years.

Cost £195 at a local trusted indy (fully cambelt kit), which is around £90 labour I think.
