Ellesmere Port Weekender......

Hi Guys and Gals -

Over the past few hours, I seem to have opened a B&B for Ellesmere Port waif and strays, for the Saturday night of 25th march, prior to our Ellesmere Port meet on the Sunday 26th.

I dearly wish I had the space to put you all up, but have had a little brainwave which may be able to help those for whom we don't have room.

Currently, Chris and I are homing Dunc and Mrs and Mrs Robbieben - I think this means we have space for one or two more - one on the sofa and one on the floor.

HOWEVER we do have a nice Premier Travel Inn less than half a mile away from our house, and I wondered if this was ofany use to anyone planning on stopping over, if it turns out that there are too many to fit in Chez Drinky!!

We live less than 1/2 hour's drive from Ellesmere Port, and the Travel Inn has a Brewsters Inn attached. Not sure how many are planning on staying overnght, but I thought it would be nice if were all fairly close by, to make an evening of it - a meal and a few pints perhaps?????

I have called the Travel Inn and as of tonight they have prenty of available rooms. They gave me the direct number for the hotel as well - 01606 45524 and have said that the rooms are about £50 per night on that date.

Any help to any travellers?

Im staying at that premier inn up the road from you Lousie so im up for a few drinks/grub if the 'drinkies' and 'Bens' are up for it?

Means i can have a relaxing drive down at lunchtime and get the car cleaned saturday afternoon. (I dont mind coming round yours if your all doing the same and bringing all my fancy detailing gear?), otherwise i'll just be a saddo and clean it in the car park lol

Think you're gonna be a saddo on your own m8. Bit like me on the Saturday night before Santa Pod, don't think anyone else is at that Travelodge or nearby!! lol

i may just see what the weather is like and risk the 3hr drive down on the morning of the show. No point spending an afternoon cleaning the car in a travel inn car park if its pi$$ing down lol.

We are all definitely up for a get together!!! I will pm you our number - then you can give us a bell and we can meet up!!

Also, why not save your pennies and come and stay with us?? All getting ready in the morning - could be a laugh?

Im the worlds loudest snorer so i feel guilty about inflicting myself on other people. If the weather is good (ie not raining) for the sat, i'll do the travel inn, clean the car, then meet up with you guys
