    Eek fuel consumption????

I filled the car up to the brim the other day has i knew i was doing a few trips over the weekend, i went from ipswich to dartford and back, then from ipswich to miltonkeynes and then onto northampton and finally back to ipswich and had to put more fuel in 50miles from home, ive worked out that i must of done no more than 350 miles on a full tank??? is this normal for a 2.2 sri?

Depends on how much right foot you were giving it

Around 380-400 seems the norm for the petrol 1.8 - 2.2

wish i could put my veccy ice and comforts into my scooby , i know if i had a choice of the trip you just done in my scooby or a veccy (fuel costs aside) i'd chose a veccy everyday , really miss the comfort side of things alot on long trips.

One of my mate's took me to work for 12 miles in his Scooby - one of the special Proline editions I think with about 300 bhp. My god it shifted and stopped, but after we got there I was about ready to throw up....

Needless to say I said I'd drive him to work and back for the reast of the week...
