    Default cd 70 post codes??

Hi Guy's, well the old siggy had to go in the end, she was getting a bit troublesome with lots of spanner lights etc and got a good deal on a 57 plate veccy 1.9cdti(150).
now to the point, The car had no nav cd's when I picked it up so dealers said they would get them, in the mean time I held onto the 2005 disks out of the siggy which were ok but when I had a look in the last destination section on the cd70 there were addresses in there which the previous owner had forgotten to clear out but the point is they were showing post codes!!
I did'nt think the cd70 could do post codes?? can some one enlighten me about this please?
also I have now got a 2007/2008 disk from the dealers but the setup disk they gave me with it is 2005 i.e same as the one from the siggy is this correct? I would have thought the setup disk would have been upgraded by now? and any way the cd70 doesn't do post codes with what I have anyone got any ideas??

Enter it like you would a town but do the postcode, numbers are available if you look above the alphabet.

you probably mean the language disk :
there is only one language disk, version 2005 - 1.0 - languages haven't changed since then

Just checked, it's five if your postcode requires it, ie. CM20 1.

If you are using a code with single letter outward then it's four.

If it's a single letter and a single number it's three!

    Default cd 70

Hi Guy's thanks very much fo the replies I am much enlightened!

Like this Veccy as well I have been pleasantly suprised, either it is much quicker than the Siggy or The Siggy had been rather poorly for a good while! having said that the Veccy is, according to the figures substantially lighter and hence quicker than the Siggy.

    cheers
