Have recently got some quotes on how much it will cost to get several panels and the wheels refurbished on my pride and joy. To be honest I have had quite a range, but today called into Clean Wheels UK and got the best quote I have found so far...

I think it was Barry I spoke to, and he recalled me from the Elvetham Heath show a couple of months back.

Very friendly guy, and his site is well laid out. Some of the cars he had in the parking lot were exeptionally turned out - including his own! impressed! He even pointed out that my car looked like it had been involved in a mishap before I came along, as several passenger-side panels, including my wing had been repainted - and not very well at that! I had noticed the wing not long after I brought it, but it took Barry's expert eye to spot the rest...

After getting home and speaking to my financial adviser (her indoors) she blew a gasket, but my argument has always been that the things I want doing will still be cheaper than buying a new car. A compromise was reached, and I have been given permission to get everything done, albeit in in stages...

I think I know what most of my November bonus is going on now - Wheels and rear bumber at least!

If you are reading this Barry, it was nice to meet you again, and thank you for spending the time to chat this afternoon. Just gotta wait for the cash now...

I deffo will get the bonnet and front bumper done at the same time. For now tho, I am still counting myself lucky that Justine is letting me go this far...please don't ruin it for me?

if he is as good as you say he is then the colour match should be spot on as i had 70% of mine repainted and the you cant knock it for colour the match

The only thing that I know for sure won't be the same colour will be the wheels after refurbishment. I'm going for a more silver/chromish look...
