    Default Signum Suspension and Brakes...

I've got an 04 plate 2.2Dti which I'm thinking of lowering, I would like to go 60mm over the factory 17" wheels however, I've not seen any springs which will offer this drop, any suggestions/advice, all appreciated!?

Also, I would like to up the stakes on the front brakes, are there any larger discs and callipers that will fit the front of my Siggy?

    Thanks in advance guys.

    Mat

For that sort of drop you'll be looking at coilovers.

Re brakes - you can fit the 314mm front setup which came as standard on the 3.2V6 and 3.0CDTi. You'll notice a helluva difference compared to your 285mm fronts. LMF sell the whole kit for less than £300 last time I saw.

Cheers Duncan, funny you should reply to this, just been reading post involving yourself on the subject of some smoked/tinted rear signum lights.

I don't think much to the brakes in the Signum at the moment, especially whn it 4 up with luggage! I'll look into that cheers.

As for the lowering, what would you suggest without having to spend coilover type money?

    Much appreciated,

    Mat

Yep, you can't go wrong with bigger brakes!

I think 40mm is the most you're going to get on a spring/damper setup, more than that and it's into coilovers. I've got the Irmscher suspension kit on mine and very happy with it, so not really got experience with bigger drops and what kit to get. Plenty of other guys have gone 40mm - certainly on their Vectras. Bigman and Carl Bear to mention a couple. Their posts should have some info.

Where are these smoked/tinted rear lights from, I've trauled the internet and can't find any rear lights for a signum other than the standrd units!?

As for the springs, I've ordered some, 45mm drop on the front and 35 at the rear.

I've looked at those brakes you mentioned and I think they mite have to be the future for my Siggy!

    Cheers for the assistance.

The smoked rear lights are what are standard on the facelift Signum Design. I got mine from LMF so give them a shout and see if Steve has any. From memory they're about £120 the pair.

Have you any pics, only the pics in your signature have the pre-facelift rear lights?

    Cheers for that.
