Very nice Micky, but is rear number plate mounted crooked or just piture angle making it look that way, sorry but just one of my pet hates when dealers can't mount a No. plate straight.
I do like the indicators and Irmy badge above chrome coachline.

Yes, dealers sure CAN'T complete the simple task of mounting a number plate as I found out today to my cost. Didn't notice the slight offset of the screw holes of the original plates and used them as templates for the new holes in my brand new private plates I had just got made up...... My new plates are cut short so even more noticable, was quite raging!
Anyway, best solution I could come up with to remedy the crookedness and avoid paying £26 for another set of plates was to glue screw caps over the holes and use powerful silicone to just glue the plates on the car - seems to work and looks just fine.

Serves me right for assuming the idiots at the dealership might actually have managed to drill 2 straight holes in a piece of plastic, oh well.....

    alright David

i also found out to my cost on the last car that the holes are never straight..

the silicone wont attack the paint will it??

what happens if a plate breaks and you need to take it off??

not putting a downer just wondering about it all??

Not sure, but I'm quite happy (for the moment) with the reasoning that if the paint should get slightly damanged underneath, the car is never going to be without a number plate so will never be seen (I bet i get absolutely lynched for saying that, every part of the car is sacred!)

I've seen some cars with no visible plate screws they must just be stuck on, but not sure what type of adhesive is used.
