    confused Chrome cleaner

Anyone recommend a decent chrome cleaner as my 2 year old Siggies chrome looks awful all over (its not just in patches). Not impressed as have tried to clean with normal car shampoo which has made no difference whatsoever. It looks like the actual coating is degrading rather than dirt/grime. Am obviously affraid to use any sort of abrasives on it.

Just use a normal car polish, that will do the trick without causing scratches

can be used on all kinds of metal... but if the "chrome" is just a coated plastic then just car wash shampoo is your best bet.

I was told that ages ago, and just lately its been on TV and radio as a cost cutting tip and an alternative to buying harmful chemicals.
