tyres size question...

Hi all.. I'm thinking about some new rims but getting stuck with tyre sizes. I'm looking at either 19s or 20's but don't know what widths to go for and what tyre widths suit...

just wondering..how many peeps got 20" rims on here..if so..what width and any rubbing issues..(arch rubbing not 'ooh those look real good' rubbing

Ian C has 20's on his i500, don't think he has any problems with rubbing.

don't suppose ya know what width they are..seen nice 20x10"..thats a 255 tyre width minimum..

i think 245 is the max width you can get away with, if not, someone will put me right.

225/30/20 is the tyre that is used on 20's on a vecta and astra

Just been to local wheel people..most manufacturers can only supply 20x7.5 with 225's(obviously just looking at thier fitment list) and only have one or two designs if any...I'm wondering if I had the rolled arch lip treatment whether I'd beable to go for a 20x8 thus increasing amount of styles available or can anyone recomend somewhere where they know their stuff.
