Thinking of a Meriva VXR

Me and the family are considering the new Meriva VXR. Compact enough for ourlasses driving skills and the trade off for me it's a VXR. Gets quite a good write up from various mags. I quite like the flexibility of the seats and it's quite a good looker.

What do you lot reckon??

I like them, I have seen a few black merivas around here with tints and alloys and they look the part , quite a step down from a vec though ... 1.6 turbo are`nt they, and no weight so will shift I would think ...

Only thing that puts me off is i'm not sure my **** will fit in them narrow recarros! Going to see if my local delaers getting one in when i go for warranty work on the Vec on Monday. That day might have to come Alex! 1.6 Turbo is correct Bainie flies apparantly.

i would say have a look at a zaffy vxr as well as you could pick one of them up for a few k off list if you look around
some in work got the leather pack for free and ££ off the car

been thinking the same here, Yvonne has a Meriva which I quite enjoy driving and I thought the vxr version worth a look. Just waiting until the local VX dealer gets his hands on one for us to try

i would say have a look at a zaffy vxr as well as you could pick one of them up for a few k off list if you look around
some in work got the leather pack for free and ££ off the car

My local dealers have several vxr's in but not the meriva, going to get ball rolling on Monday i think. Noticed on the net that a couple of online dealers have them with £2.700 off list price. Uk cars full delaer support etc..

My local dealer has every VXR in black except the Meriva

It will probably be june before we can really consider buying one but I'm hoping to pick-up an ex VX demo version.

Incidentally my local vx said Vauxhall don't think the vxr meriva will sell as well as the others in the range -I think they may be surprised at how well it does.

Vauxhall are only banking on selling 400 apparantly. I think they will exeed that easliy.

Might be a decent bargaining chip when you actually go for one, especially if they are down on targets.
