    Default vectra c front suspension

Hi Vectra sri 2.2 Jan 06

Recently had new front shock absorbers/springs fitted under warranty as a result of a clunk from the front suspension, seems to have cured the problem but the vehicle appears to be higher off the ground at the front end now and appears to drive quite differently. Am i being alarmist or is this normal .I thought the sri had lower suspension anyway,my suspicion being that they have fitted the wrong springs/dampers.Any thoughts ?

    Many thanks

I wouldn't be at all surprised. Vxl fitted the wrong springs to my 2004 SRi last year and were stunned that I noticed.....they said they didn't know how it could have happened.

I had a few reasons but bit my tongue!

There are several springs that can be inadvertantly fitted as there are the sri ones, police, standard etc and I reckon the parts guys often get somewhat confused I reckon when they look at the parts list, out of interest the correct ones you now have fitted are they P/No. 93190533 by any chance?

    cheers Pete
