Default Help! Best way to transport part built car and loads of bits

Tempted by a part built car, but it's in Yorkshire and I am based in sunny (well today) Aberdeen. Looking options in getting it up here. Anyone done this kind of thing before if so how did you do it? My Vec doesn't have a towbar so looking to see what is the best/most cost effective way.

I must be crazy and looking for my misses to talk me out of it, but she is actually encouraging me to do it

It's a Tiger Super kitcar at the rolling chasis stage. I've mailed the guy to find out more, but it comes with a VX XE redtop engine which has been worked over. It is just the kind of thing I have been looking for as I have the kitcar build bug again. It is quite tempting, even the misses is excited about the potential of getting it.

I've asked around today, but will ask at work tomorrow.

Glynn, sounds like you might know a man with a single transporter

Looks like it'll be in the region of £420 based on £1 per mile.

    Thanks for input guys.

get in touch with a local hire shop and see if they do car trailer's, or have a look local to see if there is a recovery firm that will do it for you....you don't ask you don't get
