i lowered my car only a few weeks ago , standard shocks (exclusiv model) by 45mm no probs, good cross between more sporty handling and comfort, have lowered other cars with shocks and springs and its ok for a week or two but starts getting on yer nerves if its too hard,,,,

    Which springs did you use?

I have an SRi that I would like to take about 30 mm out of the ride height.

i used cobra springs, seem good quality, and take the front end down too, unlike the eibach ones i have seen which lower the back but leave the front a bit high, have a look at my profile pic theres a pic side on of mee car , well pleased, was worried to start as most buy the eibachs but am well pleased i did now

    Thanks Dave.

I'll look out for the Cobra springs. My estate needs loweing to compliment my wheels, and the ride height you have is what I am looking for.

    Got any more pics?

    Mine are on Flickr

    Nice wheels

Seeing those pics just confirms that I like the ride height of your motor.

Seen Cobra springs at Europerformance. Is that where you got yours?
