    Default Performance chip?

    Anyone tried these before? If so, they any good at all?

    Forget it. All it is is basically a resistor to fool your car into thinking the engine isn't fully warmed up so it delivers more fuel (think back to days when cars had chokes)

    You might as well go down to Maplin and buy one for a few pence instead.

    an old mate once brought one of these type thing's for his vec-b sri........ he said it was great....15 bhp aint that noticable and tbh it's a waste of money imho

    You'd gain more performance if you inserted one end of a pipe up your backside and the other to the inlet manifold and then farted.

    As said, a complete waste of money.

    No!

    You're more likely to get 'bore wash' and 15 mpg.

    You can't just chuck more fuel in a petrol engine without making sure first that you have more air to burn it in.
