    Default Shaking 3.2?

    I have a intermittent fault.

At constant motorway way speeds the car starts shaking almost like you have a flat tyre?

    It shakes/vibrates violently.

Not sure what it is ?

Could it be the gearbox/bearings etc?
Brakes and wheels are fine all balanced etc

Does the vibration disappear when you dip the clutch, does it disappear when you accelerate or slow down.
You say the brakes are ok, is there any vibration through the steering wheel.

Don't know the answer but sure it was you heading up the A666 a couple of cars behind me in the outside lane near Asda on Thursday night, I just made it through the lights and you got stuck behind the car in front.

If it was you, man those lights are bright!!!

Had both my front wheel bearings go over the last few months, didn't get any of the judder you refer to but definately got the whirring noise.

There is vibration through the steering yes, but also thewhole car vibrates.

Stops when I slow down, if I pull over and set off again it stops.

    Dipped clutch/coasting still does it?

Yet came home tonight at an average 75-80 and it was fine
