    Default F in Idiots

In the early hours of this morning one of our taxis was heading along the A12,[with passengers] next thing the driver knows there is a crash on the roof of the taxi and the windscreen caves in luckily he managed to pull up,and put out a call ,another taxi was not to far away when he got to him so as to get the passengers home they had a look to see whay had happenned, next thing they know is more bricks are being thrown at them from the bridge above,
This is the best bit they phoned the police about what had happened and what was happening and they did not come out to them !!.
Result...one very dented E7 taxi without a windscreen, the main thing is no one was hurt or killed what sort of morons do this [in what is considered to be a "nice & quiet " part of Essex].
Downside for me I should have been driving that taxi to night.

There have been 3 instances in the last 5 years where truck drivers have been killed by these antics!!!!!

I am always very apprehensive when driving under bridges when there are groups of kids hanging around on them, and always try an change lanes wherever possible just before going under them(I do this in both cars and trucks)

This sort of behaviour needs to be severely punished, there was a fatal accident near Northampton a few months back where the same thing happened and a lorry careered off the road and the driver was killed.

Thankfully you weren't driving last night, but hope the bloke that was is ok.

This sort of thing amazes me, i certainly did some stupid things when i was younger, but i cant for one minute imagine doing something like that, which anyone over the age of 7 could understand can kill someone.

When im driving at night and come up to bridges and not many other cars are around i normally make a habit of changing lanes just before i go under the bridge (dual carriageways & motorways) because of this sort of thing, its never happened to me (or been attempted as far as i know) but a friend of mine had a brick thrown at his car, it hit the roof and not the windscreen luckily, but shook him up LOTS none the less. Im not sure if changing lanes help, but my logic is if they are there ready to throw something, moving out of the assumed path they thought i would take must help.

I saw the taxi last night, and whatever it was they threw was HUGE, a darn bigger than a brick that is for sure the driver was very lucky.
