    Default VXR Prices

    Guys,

Im liking the Vectra VXR more and more everytime i look at it.

Just now with travelling 25 miles each way to work everyday im not sure i would enjoy the fuel bills.

I reckon in a years time our office will be closed and i will be working from home which means i could justify a 2.8 v6 turbo....

What do we reckon used prices will be? Say 1yr old, with around 20,000 miles on the clock?

    Cheers

Based on a new price of £26,980, thats with 19's, AFL and Sat Nav over standard spec as I see these as most popular options buyers will choose.
£23,353 on autoebid.com for the same spec as above.
You will probably see them for around the 18-22K mark depending on spec and mileage at 1 year old, lower/basic spec models possibly 16-20K a lot will depend on initial sales, customer desire on the second hand market.
Hopefully they will hold their value a lot better than the Vectra does at present, but could easily follow the same curve as the Vectra does now, which does not help people that buy new, but gives a fantastic car as a 1 year old buy for the second hand marketplace.

I would agree, I think that they will depreciate as fast though as anyone spending that kind of cash will buy a new car so I reckon they will fall quicker than the Astra so would suggest the lower end of the scale, I bought my SRi a year old and got it for 1/2 price so I reckon the VXR`s will be around 14-17k dep on spec ...

yep i got mine, 4 months old for 12k, 18500 brand new i think. VXR should drop to the 13-14 mark after 6 months to a year
