From what I've read I don't think they're led's so just wire them in place of the sidelight

I have heard that you can seperate the seal by warming up the headlight. Guys on other forums (Honda and other Vaux) put their lights in a warm oven for 1/2 hour until the seal goes soft. I think they wrapped the light in a towel first to avoid melting. Apparently you can chuck it back in the oven when its finished to re-seal the light again.

Sound a bit scary!!?? I have seen and read about loads of people that have done it. I have know idea whether you can do it to a Vectra headlight tho.

If you wanna try and let me know .......

I know a couple of Astra's have done it this way - are they not plastic too? (not sure if I'm allowed to say this but peeps on MIG have successfully done it).
I'm not brave enough to try it (plus my gf will murder me if I melt one of the headlights in her new oven!)
Let me know how u get on if u decide to do it.

i used a dremel to cut the lenses off of Mrs GSi's headlamps when i did her body coloured headlamp mod..then re-sealed the lense back on with silkaflex....

and yep, the lenses are plastic, and about 2mm thick,
