I drive a 2004 1.9tdci design, I have a set if 18" rims on it and at standard height I feel they look too small, I was thinking of putting SRI springs into the car but would they make it look any better? or is dropping it worth it?

Lowering is definately worth it, instead of SRi springs, look for a set of Eibachs from LMF.
how low would the eibachs lower the car? was thinking of even selling the 18's and buyin sum 19" snowflakes?
About 35mm I believe. Would be OK on 19's too.
I thought the design already had the sri springs
