    Default Shorter air intake

Just been thinking about the shorter intake pipe (VXR/ GSI pipe) and wondering if there could be any issues , say for example driving on motorway and it's chucking it down with rain, what's the chances of water being sucked in etc, as I noticed after washing the car that there was some water sitting in the front of the pipe, anyone experienced any issues like this?

The 2.2 boys have noticed that fitting a shorter intake is leading to a loss in low down torque. The 2.2 VX220's stick with a long straight intake.

That's interesting as I can't say I've noticed that on my 2.2, but would like to see the comments from guys you are talking about , can you point me in the right direction mate?
