    Default Blue Lights on the front "the Law??"

    I have blue sidelight on the front of my car (led) they have the indicator orange above them. i have been pulled over and told to change them twice and ive also bin told they are fine.... What does the law say about them?????

    Restrictions on fitting blue warning beacons, special warning lamps and similar devices
    16. No vehicle, other than an emergency vehicle, shall be fitted with-


    • (a) a blue warning beacon or special warning lamp, or


    • (b) a device which resembles a blue warning beacon or a special warning lamp, whether the same is in working order or not.

    a case to argue then??? as they are not a becon or a warning lamp???

    Nope..they need changing. It could get expensive if you don't.

    I think the part that is ambiguous is the "resembles" part, down to the officers perception

    Well I can see how they would be perceived as a blue warning beacon.

    I'd get them changed ASAP.

    i would like to know why every blooming HGV drives around with them on ?????????????..............not just one or two...but seems necessary to cover the whole frontage with them
