Turn the front wheels to the right. Remove the two front screws in the f/n/s inner wing to release the plastic inner wing. Pull the plastic out and you will see the washer bottle and the pump. Pump just pulls out. You can then pull off the two water pipes. The electrical connector has a clip. Bit of thought and it is easy to remove.

I would imagine that the filter at the bottom of the pump is gunged up. Mine smelled like a sewer. But if you need a pump you have it in your hand.

When you put it back make sure that its pushed back firmly so that it won't leak. Fill with water to check before putting everything back....

    Default Washer Bottle Problems

Hi all, I am having a problem with my washer bottle - I have removed the motor and checked the pump all works fine - even managed to get get water out of the jets - I put it all back together and no water comes out. Do you think this may be a small sweage plant at the bottem of the bottle as well.

Please be kind it is my first post on here.

    BTW its a 04 Signum 2.2 dti

Check the rubber that the pump pushes into as it is a filter as well pull it out and clean the little holes in it.

I'll second that pull the filter off and clean. clean the bottle as well since you have it all off. Check with a clean glass of water before putting back together. Probably just needs a good clean.
