    Default Urgent Radio Fitting Question

Getting Vaux to replace cd30 for cd30 mp3 as its bust. The cd30 mp3 i've been told is in 'delivery' mode and unpaired but no 'proof'. However Dealer saying if not it will screw up ecu and car?? This true?

The display would just ping and come up with safe on it every 30secs or so.

Dealer scare mongering again, either through deliberate attempt to scare you or through ignorance. I dare bet that you didn't buy the new head unit from them?

the new unit wont pair itself to your car, nor will the old unit unpair itself.. complete twoddle they are telling you. Worst case scenario is if the new unit is already paired to the car the display will ping up with safe every 30secs or so. It will in no way hurt the ECU of the car. Tell them they'd better go back for some proper GM training lol.
