Bluddy hell, 10 minutes in a 2.2 DTi and it managed to stay out of limp home mode!!!
Worth watching that video. Good to see that the first car overtaken was a Mondeo Estate........
Note the courtesy being shown to faster stuff like Porsches coming up behind - you can hear the indicator clicking away to show which side to pass.
Bet you could have fried eggs on the front tyres afterwards!
Great video, Have done the ring trip a few times now and can highly recommend it to all. If you see a 54 1.8 sri upside down next summer say hi, lol.
I think im currently undergoing that at the moment. Arnold Clark are now saying that vauxhall have looked at it, and have found no fault, I cannot understand them i really cant
Arnold Clark need burning down TBH. THing I've found with the 2.2DTi, is once they start changing parts, you chase faults around the car.
Favourite problems are Boost sensor, EGR Valve, Vacuum tubes, Boost hoses, Intercoolers can blow at their welds, Fuel pumps can be fragile.....
Sold mine in the end, now enjoying the total reliability of a 1.9.....
Im going to ask for my money back with it i think, not holding out much hope though
