    Default Oh dear

After the rain last night I must have clipped a kerb last night as I had a punture this morning. I went down to tyre place and I had a buldge yet no kerb mark in the alloy. They replaced the tyre and I got them to do the tracking. The car seems to tramline even more than normal and feels unconnected to the road. Anything obvious to check as I don't remember hitting the kerb?

Sorry to hear your having trouble,

Did they fit the tyre the right way around ?

Check to see if its directional

or it could be just over inflated or under inflated

Did they just do a front wheel tracking check and was it out that is notorisely inaccurate you can always have a 4 wheel geometry check to reassure yourself that the set-up is A Ok

Try rotating the wheels from back to front if that don't work, check the track rods etc.....

    Good luck.

New tyres aren't always even across the tread (manufacturers shave the treads to help balance the tyre), so are better fitted on the rear first, and shifting your rears to the front should cure the problem.
