Upgrading from vec b V6 to GSI V6

Hi all,

A veteran of 4 V6's, 2 cav, 1 mondeo!, currently run a lovely 99 Vec B CDX V6 hatch. Swapping soon to something like an 03 plate vec V6 GSI.

Any advice as to any common faults and pitfalls or as what to expect with the car overall?

Not really with the 3.2V6, just the auto boxes that seem to be a weak point.

not heard of that many problems with the 3.2 v6 only it does like to drink if you drive it propley ...

Expect a smooth ride, strong but gentle power with very few problems! That's my experience of the 3.2 anyway

I'm having problems with the autubox at the moment , as someone said earlier they are prone to trouble , and the oil cooler needed replacing a few months back , think these are the only two faults with this model and I've had em both within 2 months of each other.
