    Default Wind Problem

As well as that one i've got one with my car (2.0dti 2003) any help appreciated. When i put my accelerator right down and i hit about 2500 revs (in any gear) it sounds as though i've put my blowers on, this goes off if i release the pedal. It sounds like its comin from the air box area so i've had a quick look but can't see anything, someone has said it could be the turbo. Any help before i go and book it in...... THANKS

Might sound daft but have you got an air filter in the air box, and are all the pipes fitted correctly so there is no air leak. Are there any splits in the pipes to the Turbo "etc". I think I read about pipes splitting on some diesels (not sure which ones though).

2500 revs is roughly when ya turbo will kick in so i'd suspect that first..

Dead right mate, split in pipe from the turbo, £120 big ones, dealer part only, taped up with duct tape at moment. Not the best solution but gettin me by for now.(sort off).
