Default Mitsubishi Evo or Scooby rental help?

Anyone know of anywhere in north essex/east anglia that offers car rental for these type of car?

Im looking at getting rid of the vecy for a evo, after having a play in my mates. Belive it or not its cheaper to insure a evo fq300 than a vxr vecy????????

aha moving to the jap dark side eh , I did the same , I initially was looking at a VXR (from 2.2 direct SRI) then i took the scooby on a test run and it was miles better to drive, so it came down to comfort which the vxr wins hands down but i still had to choose the scooby and pro drive'd it! Sorry cant answer your question though lol

Cant believe the insurance is cheaper , i am paying £650 for the scoob , the VXR would have been £400 odd and an Evo was alot more (servicing costs compared to the Scooby put me off them)

Good luck with the search for hiring one dude, or you could do one of those track day experiences and test em properly ?

You got too much money, please throw it my way.

I know what you mean, I always wanted a M3 E30 LHD but couldn't get insured for good money. Now I am getting older I can't be bothered with spending much on a car even though I can now afford the insurance. I spend the money elsewhere...holidays.

I would go for the Evo is it were me.

I agree and if I were the parents I would put the rent up...lets hope they don't read this.

Anyway back to topic. They only hire run of the mill or supercars but maybe it might be used as a trackday car.

I did a track day with this company and drove the S3 when it first came out and bought one a few years later. http://www.palmersport.com/cars.aspx
