car value for insurance company

ok i managed to write my car off yesterdat morning just needing a list price for a 06 plate 1.9cdti 120 life with 40k on the clock mint condition with alloys

bit out of touch regarding prices since I bought mine, guessing 8-9K to buy a 1.9 2006 vectra...

Ask the insurance company nicely if you can buy the mint alloys from your write off and sell them to a nice buyer on Vectra-C.com..

EDIT: Sorry just re-read, perhaps you should have said 'was mint condition'

they were mint untill i found the kerbs and crash barriers on my way to work when i swerved for a deer i was ok jumped out the car and then the airbag went off some safety device lol

Sorry to hear bout the car mate. Good job you got out before the airbags went off then if the didn't go off on impact!

I would probably put retail around £7K to £7.5K.

cheers will let the insurance company know what i am expected as it was a mint car with everthing it had ever needed will post pics up of it this week as its still sitting in the shed at work
