    Default headlight adjustment

    When I turn the nob inside to adjust the headlight angle nothing happens? I mean the switch next to the headlight nob. Anybody got any ideas, I hope this makes sense?

    Thanks in advance,

    Robbie

    <silly schoolboy giggle>

    You said nob

    Anyway... Do neither of the headlights move? If neither move, it's probably a duff switch or connection. If only one moves, it'll be a faulty motor.

    A faulty knob or electrical connection...or both motors are fried which is not likely

    Had this problem on mine. Turned out both the headlight units had become detached from the adjustment motor. If you remove the rubber cover behind the headlight check if the internal unit moves. The motor can disconnect from the internal unit if too much pressure is used when changing bulbs. It is a ball and socket connection and is a bit fiddly to reconnect.

    Thanks for that mate, I will take a look tonight when I get home. I'm sure it used to work and I have been changing bulbs around. Got rid of my cheap and nasty HID kit and fitted some PHILIPS X-TREME POWER, they are great!

    Thanks again

    Just a thought, have you checked the fuse. Sometimes the solution is a simple one.

    Is there one? I'm so simple myself I wouldn't even know. I will also have a look at this, thanks.
