Default rear number plate bulbs help

    Hi,

recently took my car to a local garage and had rear parking sensors fitted.

Now have the car back and one of the rear number plate bulbs has blown.

Can these be changed to led's legally? and any advice as to which ones.

I have been looking at ultraleds but there is so many.

Also if led's are allowed, is it possible to use blue led's?

    many thanks

One way to find out is to take a bulb out and see if you get a message, the bulb is the same as the sidelights,a 501,5w as for the type anyone which has the same size capsule and isn't too blue will do.

one bulb is already out and not working and i have not had any warnings.

I dont want to risk led's if they are going to cause a problem.

Is that a no no for blue led's in the rear plates then?

altho i would of purchased them from ultraled's i noticed these

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2X-4-LED-Blue-...d=p3286.c0.m14

but obviously dont want to go illegal.
