    Default Vectra Scratch Repairs

There is a massive chunk of paint missing from the front bumper, so finally got round to ordering a touch up kit from http://www.paints4u.com

    The Kit:

    1st Fill:

I've done another fill, and also a bit of wet sanding to try and level it out. I'll try and grab another picture later on this evening when it stops raining.

    2nd Fill and Sand/Polish

I've also made a start on all the other little chips and scuffs.

Here is one on the off side rear arch:

    Filled:

You can see the line of the scratch going through the middle of the filled area

    Sanded:

    Polished:

I've just put the 3rd layer of paint on the bumper, so pics to follow in the morning when it's dryed

Arch looks great mate, think paints 4u site is down at the moment as cannot access the link you put on z22, what was the name of the kit you got? I have a very similar mark in my front bumper edge but its flush with no edges to the feel.

    Site is working mate:

You do have to sroll down, as their site is quite badly designed, the product details are quite far down the page.

Looks like great results Matt, very tempted by the kit as well as I've got plenty of chunks missing.

This is what is looks like this evening:

Still needs another couple of layers to build it up to the level of the other paint, as you can still see the edges coming through. It also looks a lot worse in this picture because of the flash being used

Looks great mate, very good results there. Only £14 for the kit. How much was postage? I have a few stone chips etc, could do with being done.
