I was going to get the one from the US but not totally compatible with RDS and as I only plan on doing this once i thought i would go for the next one up from my original choice because of the USB and it is more expandable.....

good choice and thats why i pm'd you about it just in case you like to see the radio station you are listening to

when i had the 710 it was advertised has having all what the 810 had so had the 710 found out it didnt, give them a telling off and got the ipod adaptor free so i wasnt fussed about the usb you will be happy with it i am with mine

I downloaded the manual and instalation manual and boy, looks quite complicated, is it as difficult as it looks or will it be quite easy to do, or, should i get someone to do it for me. i.e. audio centre

i just plugged mine straight in and scotch locked the handbrake wire to the earth of the cars radio loom
