    Angry Internet credit card fraud!!

I'm hoping that someone on here might be able to help me with the above problem.

It has become evident that I have become the victim of credit card fraud over the internet. I recently received 2 emails from 2 different car hi-fi stores in the USA confirming my orders. One was through Paypal and the other has means of payment as "International Quote". The paypal payment was made using my credit card (and is showing up on my statement) but I have no idea what an international quote is.

Now, I have already contacted my credit card company. They have shut down my card and I have spoken to their fraud department. They are looking into the case.

I have also logged a fraudulent claim with Paypal (where the R. Sole must have got my details) but have heard nothing yet.

    Who else can I contact?

I have also, on the emails I have, got the scumbags' name and address, or at least a name and delivery address. Both are for Medan, Sumatera Utara , Indonesia/Hong Kong (he's clearly not certain which).

So chaps, what else can I do?

P.S. I can't afford to fly over and give him a shoeing even though I am sorely tempted!

    Good plan!

I've just Googled the pleb in question and found a blog which states that he is a well-known paypal/ebay hacker.

If you want to know who he is he's called Arif Anugrah.

He's on Facebook too. Bold as brass.

You will get refunded anything lost by your credit card at least. It is their responsibility to investigate, not really yours

Is it worth bursting a blood vessel over doing anything more?

When I had debit card fraud happen to me on New Year's Eve my bank told me not to go to the police or anything as they would investigate the fraud and prosecute if they deemed it necessary.

Don't hold your breath. The credit card company will refund you and the Police will log it. That's all.
My wife's card was cloned last year, and it was obvious where it had been cloned. We told the card company and the police, but they just weren't interested. They'll just stick another 1/2 % on the rates to cover it.
