    Default Nexen Tyres...any good?

Following my MOT on Friday that came with three advisors for three very worn tyres I need to replace so I was just going to do all four

I have seen the Nexen N3000's at around £67 each fitted, and the NCT5's at £93 fitted.

Been reading a lot recently about the road noise and fast wearing of some of the budget tyres...does anyone know if these are any good?

Apologies for yet another tyre question!!!

i have these on my signum as they came with the wheel and tyre package and they seem pretty good mate but i find with budget tyres they are not so good in the wet but generally hard wearing imo

Got them on the fronts at the moment, the dealer put them on, not me but they seem reasonable for a budget brand.
They're nice and quiet, grippy in the dry, not so good in the wet and i'd say they feel better than the NCT5's but I've
ever really been a fan of them to start with.

I was definitely going to go for them until the 'only lasted 6k' post!

    Now I'm not sure

I do drive hard, maybe someone else had tham last longer, they lasted ages on the back, 15k and still loads left.

They've been on mine for 3k so far and they're on 7mm, I don't drive like a grandad either.

If you're looking for mileage stick with the NCT5s IME. If you're on 17" wheels, £93 is a good price for them too.
