Warning Light Under Rev Counter???????

Hi, I just bought a 2003 DTI Vectra and i have not had the time yet to pick up a workshop manual , so i am looking for any help that i can get thx. The problem i am having is i have a warning light under the rev counter in the small digital box?, the warning light looks like a warning bulb with an exclamation in the middle of the bulb?, can anyone tell me what this is please, much appreciated thx

Sounds like you've got a bulb out. Have you checked the lights?

Or flashes for absolutely no reason at all, as mine was. although now SEEMS to have stopped.

yea bulb out or buld just about to go shorting so it sends a signal to the sensors nothing serious at least

I have the same issue, was mentioned could be the reg lights, so i have just changed them both and the freaking light is still on !!!

Anymore help, is there a way to turn it off ??

Reg lights won't put the bulb warning on.

You'll need to go round each and every bulb and clean the connections. BUT before you do, make sure that the rear tail lights are working. There are 2 bulbs each side - easy mistake to make not noticing that one is out.
